woke up really early this morning for my breakfast date with jeev! he came by to pick me a 830 and we headed to east coast park for our breakfast! plan A failed (veryunfortunately :( ) because i didnt do my hw properly so we had to go for plan B. breakfast at coffeebeans.
here's jeev and his egg ben
my initial plan was that we would have breakfast for a longlong time (till maybe it was time for lunch hehe) but anyway so we finished breakfast way earlier than i had expected so we bummed around for a bit at the beach.
thats us.
took us two pictures before this one before jeev decided to look pretty normal. (we blamed the sun of course) the first one he looked so grouchy, and the second... he exclaimed 'i look like spongebob!' hahahaha. my sister saw the picture and she couldnt stop laughing. sorry jeev i had to share those pictures with somebody ;)
since it was so early we went to catch a movie. FINALLY got to catch In Her Shoes. its such a good movie. its the best movie i've caught this year (so far)
baby and i waiting to be picked up to go visiting.
so we went visiting again in the afternoon, received a long talk from granduncle and grandauntie which sounded so familiar (i had the same talk with my parents last year), and then dinner at aunty lucy's. then mummy wanted to play mahjong and baby wanted to do homework so daddy and i went to the club and i insisted in walking at river hongbao!
and because it was only daddy and i we took turns taking photo.
oh and they had really pretty peaches on the trees but i couldnt take a photo good enough to do justice to them.
see.
and then i saw the biggest cai shen ye i've ever seen in my whole life!
and it was really amusing. there were people holding their umbrellas upside down standing in front of cai shen ye. i think they were hoping that cai shen ye would throw money down..
look!
then at 930, there were fireworks!!!
so prettyyy (:
well after fireworks daddy wanted to walk on.. so we did and we saw a wishing well!
it's quite cute how you make a wish. you dont just throw a coin in and wish. in the centre there are a few bells. and you gotta aim and throw a coin in hope it'd hit a bell and you can make a wish. and all donations go to charity. so innovative huh.
i didnt make a wish though.
the pretty night lights and red lanterns which i absolutely love.
and... we had icecream! it was that warm a night but i felt like having icecream and then i saw an icecream stall! yay what a great night (:
what a great day.
plus i dont have to go to school tomorrow.
double yay. (:
