Day 5!

on thursday we went to Williamstown! it's this this lovely port area and we were really lucky cuz the weather was SO FINE! i've never seen a sky so blue before (not even ONE cloud in the sky!) it wasnt too cold it wasnt too hot, it was perfect!

shared fish and chips for lunch and we sat at the pier and watched the boats/yachts, the birds, the water, a swan, starfishes.. it was lovely!

walked around the town after that, i had some gelato, then we headed back to the city were i met jeev and jeev and i went to meet jan for dinner!

in the train on our way to williamstown!
oh! random thought: toilets in melbourne are always SO CLEAN im impressed. why cant all toilets in singapore we clean and dry too? :(

and i'll let the pictures do the talking for a while.

the one legged bird hui and i were observing during our meal.

anyhows, jeev and i were suppose to meet jan at flinder's street station at 7 to go for dinner, and the bad thing is, in melbourne they close shops really early so by 6 there was nothing much to see so jeev and i went to federation square to take photos! it was kinda dark so we couldnt get a nice picture of the river.

met jan after and she brought us to this cafe where she works at at st kilda's road. and the place is lovely! the food was goooooooood! i havent had chinese food in ages and well the cafe was owned by taiwanese and it was a nice change from all the western food ive been indulging in. it's funny how jan and i always meet in other countries. haha. last decemeber we met in bangkok, this time in melbourne and perhaps the next time we meet we'll be in uk? ;)
