so today we had an introductory talk by the director of teaching school of medicine. hmmmmm and to quote what dave said: "did not know NUS took shit from sheffield.."
very crude way of saying, NUS copied some of the syllabus from sheffield medical school. interesting.

anyway first thing in the morning after breakfast i went down to the dissection room for an introduction to the dissecting room. if i could have, i would have taken pictures and show all of you how the room looked like with dead bodies lying on the tables. but cameras are not allowed, so too bad. quite an experience looking at dead bodies that have shrivelled up thanks to formaldehyde. the room has quite a stench too, but it was not as bad as i thought it'd be.

my first practical will be on monday. hopefully i wont have to cut up any of those bodies. im not ready, yet

lost dave and yc after the lecture but met james outside and he brought me to the arts tower to take a ride on the strange elevators. pretty cool. the lifts go up and down and they have no doors and they dont stop at all you just jump in or jump out at whatever floor you want to go to.

cool huh!

uploading the video at the moment, will try to add it to my blog later!
